LIZZIE VAUGHAN
Director & Autism Specialist
With a Masters in Autism (children) and over 17 years experience supporting children on the autism spectrum, Lizzie is the founder of All About Autism. She is a dedicated specalist with experience working in early intervention settings, primary and special schools. She has experience with PECS, Proloquo2go, Emotional Toolbox and Team Teach approaches, and strives to continually learn more with current practices and learning from neurodivergent advocates. She has a passion for executive functioning learning and coping skills.
SIAN GOODWIN
Autism Specialist
Sian has expertise in managing a broad spectrum of developmental needs. With experience at Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) in NSW, she has a strong interest in relationship based models, play therapy, positive behaviour Interventions and using the TEACCH model. She uses children’s special interests to engage and motivate, and has a fantastic sense of humour which participants love.
CAROLINE THOMPSON
Autism Specialist
Caroline’s experience has been varied and has always included working with children with a wide range of Special Needs and disabilities. She has been an Assistant Principal and Head of Special Education in a primary setting supporting staff, children and families in their learning journey. Her personal interests are in play based learning, visual learning and Attention Autism.
MEGAN KENNEDY
Autism Specialist
Megan has worked in the ASD specific field for over 7 years but has been working for 15 years across a broad range of ages. She has worked at Autism Queensland and in their Early Intervention Programs. She loves engaging with children through encouragement and a sense of belonging. She has a strong interest in growth mindset and flexible thinking.
LISA RAINES
Autism Specialist
Lisa is an experienced specialist. She has extensive experience working with children with autism and is studying for a postgraduate diploma in Autism studies. She is trained in PECS, PODs, Proloquo2go, Level 2 Auslan, plus other communication and behaviour programs. She has worked closely with the NDIS and helping people navigate through it.
JACINTA MARLES
Speech Pathologist
With 10 years of experience working with autistic children, Jacinta is very passionate about building connection and engagement in order to meet all of her children’s individualised communication goals. She understands the importance of extending what is modelled and taught in sessions beyond the clinical speech pathology setting and enjoys working with families, teachers and other health professionals to transfer these skills across all areas of the child’s life.
Over the years Jacinta has undergone specific training in Hanen More Than Words, Floortime 101, Natural Language Acquisition, Executive Functioning, Social Thinking Methodology, Team Teach approaches, Neurodiversity Affirming Practice, Nuffield Program for Childhood Apraxia of Speech, PECS, Proloquo2go, LAMP, Sounds-Write and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
KELLI RICHARDS
Support Assistant
Kelli is a passionate, motivated and enthusiastic individual, with over 12 years experience working in a range of learning settings. She has strong positive behaviour management skills and works with children’s special interests to support and extend their development. Kelli enjoys developing sensory supports and relationship building.
MEG VAN STADEN
Support Assistant
Meg is deeply committed to empowering children to thrive and flourish, leveraging her strong passion for their holistic development. She holds an Honours degree in Psychology and was previously a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner gaining rich experience in nurturing young minds. Her expertise lies in adeptly managing behaviour and fostering regulation among children.
DONNA NORDEN
AAA Consultant
Donna has been an educator for over 23 years working across many settings. She has specialised in children with disabilities and learning difficulties for the last 17 years. She is passionate about engaging children and families to support everyone’s well-being. Donna’s role is supporting individual cases, advocacy, and training.
